Animec Micro is designed as a topical spot on for use on rabbits, guinea pigs, rodents, ferrets, small homing pigeons and caged birds up to 800 g bodyweight. The active ingredient Ivermectin is a substance known as an endectocide because it kills parasites that cause infestation inside the body (endoparasites) as well as those living outside the body, on the skin (ectoparasites). Ivermectin is used in many species for the control of mites, roundworms and lice.
Animec Micro is a simple and effective spot-on solution for prevention and treatment of common internal and external parasites on small mammals and birds.
Applied to the skin, Animec Micro is particularly effective against the parasites which commonly cause ear and skin problems in rabbits, ferrets, guinea pigs, snakes, lizards and small rodents. It is also effective against many of the parasites which cause skin and feather problems in birds.
PLEASE NOTE:
Animec Micro is only for use on rabbits, ferrets, guinea pigs, rodents, homing pigeons and caged birds. Do not use on animals other than those indicated. Serious reactions including deaths have been reported in certain dogs (especially Collies, Old English Sheepdogs and related breeds), tortoises and turtles treated with products containing the active substance.
