Calcium supplements have become a thorny topic for rabbits, many diets are deficient and ribbed teeth and dental problems can occur. Our supplements NUTROBAL and ARKVITS have been used to supplement diets. Our liquid calcium ZOLCAL D has also been used successfully. Rabbits excrete excess calcium in their urine and so must never be short of water, or stones may form in the bladder.

ACE-High is valuable as a supplement since it contains very little calcium so leaves a viable alternative when you want to increase the vitamin content of the diet.

HEALTH

AVIPRO PLUS, our combination of probiotic organisms, electrolytes and dextrose has become the saviour and standbye for many rabbit owners. Its effect in stabilising the gut of stressed rabbits has saved many lives. AVIPRO was relaunched in 2004 as AVIPRO PLUS - now also has soluble fibre and high levels of vitamins A, C and E to help rabbits and guinea pigs under stress.

Critical Care Formula (CCF) is a high energy and protein powder which can be mixed with water and given by direct administration off a spoon or via a gavage tube. It can also be sprinked on food. This is a true critical care product and has saved many lives.

Tamodine wound dressing is a special 'tamed iodine' - ideal for use on everything from wounds to burns. It can be used straight from the bottle when necessary.

DISINFECTION

We have several disinfection products. Our key everyday product is ARK-KLENS, very safe, effective and a brilliant cleanser and recommended for cleaning hutches. For more serious disinfection we recommend Tamodine-E, an iodophor which is very effective against bacteria viruses and fungi.
