VETARK is very pleased to have long standing links with UK Zoos and Aquaria. Our Veterinary Director Peter Scott FRCVS is recognised by the RCVS as a Specialist in Zoo & Wildlife Medicine and has been a UK government-appointed Zoo Inspector since the Inspections began under the Zoo Licensing Act. Peter led the DEFRA appointed team which in 2000 produced the new Secretary of States Standards of Modern Zoo Practice and recommendations for the plan of work for the Zoo Forum.
